Bitcoin Podcaster's Guide To Supporting Israel

You cover monetary debasement, censorship resistance, and thermodynamics but lately you’ve felt this sense of journalistic duty: "Should I be explaining the Israel-Iran conflict to my audience of cypherpunk pioneers?"
The answer is: absolutely yes.
Bitcoin podcasters are the vanguard. Bitcoin podcast listeners rely on you to provide the signal they can't get from the mainstream media or stand up comedian podcasts. People do not listen to 40 hours of Bitcoin podcasts, per week, to hear you talk about non-controversial topics.
Pros for Supporting Israel
- You may eventually need a Jewish lawyer - While you do not need to pick a side in this conflict, and you're certainly free to side against Israel, remember you may need a Jewish lawyer one day to defend you for something stupid you said on your podcast. Jewish lawyers will still defend you if you have a history of antisemitism but they will charge you less if your podcast supports Israel.
- Mossad could plant a bomb in your Coldcard - If you're too outspoken against Israel, you could be on the wrong end of a Mossad Coldcard bomb like those poor bastards in Hezbollah.
- Jews have a long history working with the CIA - The Jews and the CIA have worked together very closely to produce some of the best films and movies the world has ever watched. In fact, this whole conflict could be one big Jewish CIA psyop and if you don't support the creative endeavors of the world's best movie producers, why should they ever support YOUR content?
- Israelis love Bitcoin - If the U.S. ever decides to attack Bitcoin, try to harm the network, or make it illegal the only ones who could stop it is the Jews. If Bitcoin podcasters support Israel, we can provide lasting security to the protocol.
- D.J. Valerie Love will not try to get you banned from the Bitcoin Conference - If you support Israel, you don't have to worry about the wrath of DJ Valerie.
Cons for Supporting Israel
- People will call you a fed - Supporting Israel will not be popular especially when they're dominating headlines as a result of starting wars. It's not out of the realm of possibility that you get accused of being on the Epstein client list. However, as a Bitcoin podcaster you will be called a fed, a cuck, and a pedo anyway so this might not really matter to you.
- You will be expected to pay for more things - When you go to meetups, conferences, and other Bitcoin events people will expect you to pay for drinks, food, and uber rides because they will presume you are getting paid to support Israel. More likely than not, you won't be getting paid. But nobody will believe you're doing it for free.
- It will damage your credibility on the topic of being anti-war - Being a Bitcoin podcaster is synonymous with being anti-war. Some podcasters try to tip toe the line of being outspoken against going to war AND supporting Israel but few have the talent and skill to pull this off without being criticized publicly and loudly.
- Nuanced discussion that contradicts the CIA ran media poses a threat of upsetting the plebs - Thinking for yourself and being willing to discuss things that counter the pro-Israel sentiment in the mainstream Western media is the duty of pioneers but it upsets plebs. Plebs often project the discomfort they feel navigating controversial topics onto others and worry that it will harm Bitcoin adoption.
- Blaming Jews for everything makes you popular with Monero influencers - If you come out publicly against Israel, or blame Jews for everything more broadly, you will instantly become a cult hero to the Monero community. You will have to deal with Monero bros sliding into your mentions on Twitter for everyone to see.
At the end of the day, expressing your support for Israel, your criticisms of Zionists, or your position against war is just virtue signaling. There's nothing you can do about it except let other people know whether you think it's good or bad. But virtue signaling is one of the most effective ways to get engagement online so if you're looking for ways to grow your Bitcoin podcast audience, assess the situation to determine which side values virtue signaling most, and take action.
