Elon Musk Rate Limits Bitcoiners on Twitter, Says They Are Too Annoying When Price Goes Up
Elon Musk has announced that Twitter will be rate limiting Bitcoiners every time Bitcoin increases by more than 10% in a day. "I'm tired of my entire feed being filled with bulltards. I know we messed up by not having a higher Bitcoin balance in the Tesla treasury. I don't want to be reminded of it."
Bitcoiners will only be allowed to Tweet 3 tweets per day and will be limited to 5 comments. Bitcoin Twitter responded by posting about how they would be exclusively using Nostr from now on. The famous chart boy, Dylan Leclair tweeted about ending his premium subscription.
There is a very low likelihood of Bitcoin influencers leaving Twitter anytime soon, but there remains the issue of how they will be able to release all of their pent up bullish energy. Nostr may be flooded with charts and posts about how if a certain threshold is reached, it's a straight shot to a resistance point.
Bitcoin Twitter's reaction was so strong that Elon Musk decided to rate limit everyone. It is likely that many Twitter users have steam coming out of their ears right now as they await for their accounts to be reinstated.
