Michigan Man's Determination to Be First to Experience $100k Bitcoin Has Left Currency Exchange Out of Canadian Dollars

Detroit, MI – The Currency Exchange located in the Detroit Metro Airport (DTW) is out of Canadian Dollars. The situation has left Canadian travelers, many of whom transit through the airport on their way to their final U.S. destinations, frustrated and unable to convert U.S. Dollars to Canadian Dollars before returning home.

Authorities at the Detroit Airport Currency Exchange say this the result of a local area man who has been converting his paycheck from General Motors to Canadian Dollars each week in an effort to experience $100k Bitcoin before his American peers.

"It was sustainable for most of 2023. He came in each Friday after his shift and converted his paycheck. Everyone here knew him. He came in at 6PM, like clockwork." Dave Kingston, associate manager of the Currency Exchange told the Bugle. "However, since the United Auto Workers and GM struck a new deal, his paychecks increased nearly 40%. This caused our reserves to dry up rather quickly." He added.

Kingston told the Bugle that multiple supervisors and hourly employees at the Currency Exchange made attempts to explain to the man that the relatively high price of Bitcoin in Canadian Dollar terms was a bad thing. It means that the Canadian Dollar is less valuable. The attempts have been futile. "He said he doesn't understand complicated economic 'mumbo jumbo'" Kingston explained. "He said he has an 80 IQ and simply wants to be one of the first North American Bitcoiners to experience $100k Bitcoin."
